Trek's Girl's Mt. Track 220 is a fine children's bicycle that she'll like as much as you do. She'll love the cool looks, great graphics, knobby tires and bump-busting suspension fork. You'll be glad it's made with light, durable aluminum, reliable components and that it's professionally assembled. Plus, the twist shifters and 21-speed Shimano drivetrain make it easy for your young mountain biker to climb higher and ride farther, while the linear-pull brakes provide excellent stopping power and safety.

This was a present for my 7 year old on her birthday. The full adjustability of this bike lends itself for long lasting use. The bike is a winner! I would suggest buying the durailer guard in case the bike falls over...ENJOY!
I was looking for a decent quality bike for my nine year old. I came across the Trek MT Track 220, and was impressed by the aluminum frame and brakes. It also has a gear system that is a bit advanced for a nine year old, but I am sure she will learn the basics. I like the fact that the bike is adjustable, so she will have it for many years. My wife and I had bought two big box kids bikes in the past, and they almost immediately began to rust and fall apart. Spare parts were never available, and the stores couldn't care less after they made the sale. I bought this at a Trek dealer in NJ, and they set up the bike for free. The service went way beyond any big box store. I understand the kids bikes are made overseas, but Trek appears to have high standards and a great warranty. This will be a gift for my daughter, and I am sure she will love it!
I am very impressed with the Staff at Agees. Our 7 year old easily out grew her starter bike. Planning a surprise for her, my wife and I looked at some 20" girls bikes and thought we'd settled on the Trek MT60. We decided to take our daughter by, though, "just to look" and scout out whether or not she liked the color. She did test drive the 20" bike and the salesman immediately said she really seemed ready for the next size up. I'd not even considered a 24" bike as I had that pictured for her teen-years. Anyway, the Trek MT220 fit her very well, has a super-low step over, rode smoothly and she rode it around their test track countless times. It is very adjustable and will give her a great bike for now as well as to grow with. Thanks, Agees, for keeping me from buying something that we'd have outgrown in a year or less! Also, thanks for doing the deal quickly and quietly with me while she rode the test track. It will still be a surprise to her that I actually bought the bike. It will be held at the store until Christmas.
